Photo storage: All users receive a guaranteed minimum of 14 days of photo retention in the Viewport Stream, regardless of plan.
The Corporate Plan unlocks Seat Code onboarding — a group code system that lets an organization onboard users at scale. Codes can be distributed to staff, members, or students and automatically assign them to the appropriate nest and compliance tier upon signup.
Corporate accounts also benefit from unlimited co-admins per nest, unlimited AEP plans, and unlimited daily messaging — designed for environments where constant coordination is critical.
All paid plans are billed monthly and can be managed or cancelled at any time through your platform's subscription manager.
Android: Subscriptions are billed through Google Play using the Digital Goods API and managed via the Google Play Store.
PWA: Contact support for billing options.
If a subscription lapses, the account reverts to the Free Plan automatically at the next login. In-app currencies, gear, and game progress are never deleted on a plan downgrade.
Safety Features
The core of SQUAWK! — keeping families connected and safe through one-tap communication tools.
The green SAFE button lets your nest know you are okay with a single tap. Send a quick "I'm safe" check-in to everyone in your nest — great for after school, arriving home, or just letting family know you are fine.
Safe check-ins appear in the Viewport Stream with a timestamp so your nest can see exactly when you checked in. Each Safe action also earns reward currency.
Beakin is the emergency alert system — the heart of SQUAWK! Tap the red BEAKIN button to instantly notify your nest members of your GPS location. They will see exactly where you are on a map and can come help.
Location is shared only when you choose to send an alert — SQUAWK! never tracks you in the background.
The Activated Emergency Plan is a pre-written set of family emergency instructions that automatically broadcast to your nest alongside a Beakin alert. Write your plan in advance — evacuation routes, rally points, special instructions — so everyone knows exactly what to do the moment an alert fires, even when connectivity is limited.
Broadcast to all nest members: Community & Corporate plans only.
Huddle is for planning meetups. Set a location by typing an address or using GPS, and notify your nest. Everyone can see where to meet on a shared map. Perfect for "meet me at the park" or "I'm at the grocery store."
Request Check-In lets you ping a nest member and ask them to confirm they are safe. The recipient gets a notification prompting them to respond. Provides peace of mind when someone has not checked in for a while.
Tap the SQUAWK button to send a quick broadcast message to your entire nest. Squawk messages appear in the bottom ticker and the Viewport Stream, ensuring everyone sees it.
